Membership Information

Renewal is due for most members the fee is still $25. 
Membership should will be renewed according to the date you joined

The Board has decided to present 3 meetings a year instead of four due to difficult winter months and low attendance in the summer.  
Membership will  also include all day conference every 2 years
 ( this will be in place of one of the three meetings)

NEO- AVA Mission Statement:
 

To define, and to increase awareness of, vascular access as a specialty that promotes patient safety, patient satisfaction, and positive outcomes; to optimize the professional’s knowledge and skills; to share best practice guidelines, established standards, and evidence based data with multiple healthcare disciplines; and to promote additional research in vascular access.
 

NEO- AVA Goals:
 

To promote and encourage active membership to the international organization of AVA, the Association of Vascular Access.

To provide quarterly meetings to include vascular access experts as guest speakers including but not limited to experts in infectious disease, pharmacology, and vascular access.

To encourage mandatory vascular access education for staff development, nursing school curriculum, physician residency programs, and other disciplines involved in performance and decision making stressing the right line for the right patient at the right time along with strategies to prevent and treat complications.

To review, analyze, and utilize evidence-based data to update best practice guidelines as well as promote research projects in vascular access.

To provide an all-day, continuing education conference approximately every 2 – 3 years on current topics using experts in vascular access and professional development.
